What does a typical day at work look like? What are some of the routine tasks, and what's extraordinary about it?
Normally I log in while having breakfast. The first thing I do is go through my inboxes and create a list of to-dos for the day while my cat (Luna) does her best to get me to play with her instead of work.
What trends do you see in your industry and how do you plan ahead with that in mind?
Currently, incorporating AI and new technologies into everything any company does. We are proposing and incorporating more AI related activities into our events proposals. We try to always stay on top of the changing trends and update out technological support for each of our services not just events.
What's the biggest challenge you've faced so far in your industry and how did you overcome it?
Budget cuts, looking for alternatives and ways to cut down costs without affecting the final outcome.
How do you unwind after a hectic day at work?
Normally I take a lunch break to go to the gym, during the afternoon go out for a walk or for coffee, run to starbucks, or meet up with friends for some dinner. I take some breaks in between calls to play with Luna and that always helps too.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want with you?
Mmm hard question, i would say a solar power kindle, stainless steel water bottle and never ending solar protection (i burn pretty easily).
If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?
Be a flight attendant, not an event manager :p kidding! Clients will be clients, some are great, some are a challenge, keep doing what you love, its all worth it.
